I met Mirelle when I worked as the makeup artist for the December 2015 issue of Phoenix magazine. Her creative sense and artful eye made for a fun shoot with great pictures! Mirelle is a powerhouse of creativity balanced with a hard work ethic. I loved doing Mirelle’s makeup and getting to know more about her!
A little about Mirelle:
Why is this your favorite t-shirt?: This is my favorite t-shirt because I’m sentimental. It’s shrunken, stretchy, worn, black and we have a history together. I rode the bus to Chris Town mall and bought it at a place like Charlotte Russe, back in 2001, when I first moved to Arizona. It was worn at my first job here, the AZ Humane Society, through a slew of art classes, art projects, various moves and now it’s become my sort-of “mess” shirt. I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of it.
Tell me a little about yourself: Art, cats, cake, candy, cheese and my love Tim are my fuel, and they pretty much sum me up.
